weekend off

didn't play any tournaments this weekend. was pretty busy with personal stuff so i never had time to fit in a good session.

i had the option of playing the ftops event last nite ($300 nlh) but decided to pass. i just didn't think i was going to be geared up enough to play and i don't want to plunk down $300 and play my C game.

the only action i fit in was a couple of short cash sessions. i put in about an hour friday nite and an hour last nite playing 2 tables of 1/2 nl full ring and 2 tables of 2/4 and 3/6 limit omaha hi/lo.

the nl started off bad and i was down 3 buy-ins quick before i dished out a couple of coolers to finish the two sessions off up 1/2 a buy-in. i broke even in the O8 games but was up for most of the time. i played so few hands of O8 it's hard to say whether i had an edge or not but i definitly have a ton to learn about the game. i think i'll make it my little side project as i want to keep my main focus on mtt's.

i'll probably play a little tonite and then i'll be playing the ftops event #8 omaha hi/lo tomorrow nite so it will be accompanied by the usual cast of mtt's. i've already satted my way into the $55 satellite for event #8 but if i don't get in there i will buy-in direct.
